When you complete a payment, you submit your card details directly to Stripe via Stripe's secure checkout interface. UrbanNest Builds never sees, processes or stores your full card number, CVC, or expiry date.
Stripe acts as an independent data controller for the card data it processes and is responsible for compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We receive only confirmation of payment, the amount, the customer name and email used at checkout, and a transaction identifier. This information is used for invoicing and accounting purposes.
8. Data retention

- Enquiries that do not result in a project are typically retained for up to 12 months.
- Project records, written specifications, invoices and payment confirmations are retained for at least 6 years from the end of the relevant tax year, in line with HMRC requirements.
